Port Macquarie High
School is a comprehensive high school situated on the mid north
coast of New South Wales, Australia approximately half way between
Sydney and Brisbane. The enrolment from year 7 to 12 is around
840.
The school's mission is for students and staff to pursue
excellence whilst maintaining high personal standards. Our focus
is upon Caring (for others), Learning (together) and Striving (for
excellence).
We are a proud
member of the Hastings Valley Community of Schools.
The staff both teaching and non-teaching are experienced,
dedicated and committed personnel. We value each other and
everyone of our students and aim to provide the widest range of
opportunities available to foster their potential and ability.
Our discipline and welfare structures support the growth of our
young people so that they can become respected and valued members
of the wider community. Our curriculum attempts to cater for the
needs of all our students and offers a mix of academic and
vocational subjects.
